Rosehip: The Flower of Youth

Rosehip alsoknown as Rosa Mosqueta in Spanish.
These flowers have substances that make them truly beneficial for skin; this is why since Ancient times, they have been used for elaborating beauty products.
Roses are greatly appreciated flowers, and have been, by the most diverse cultures in time. Caesar would have his body rubbed with petals after his bath, and history says that the beautiful Cleopatra would rest on beds and pillows stuffed with rose petals.

The rose essential oil that is used mostly in the perfume industry, yields 1g of concentrated oil per kilo of petals. Despite its high cost, only one drop of authentic rose oil (not sinthetic) can turn 300g of water in rose water, an exquisite liquid that’s perfect for removing makeup, fight wrinkles, bags under the eyes, and improve the skin.

Rosehip: Maximum Nurturing
Pour 3 droplets of rosehip essential oil in 100ml of sweet almond oil and apply in the entire body, by massaging, after every shower.

• Decades later, vitamins A,E,B1 and B2 were discovered; these vitamins have exceptional regenerative and healing properties.
• The oil obtained from the seed of rosehip is rich in nonsaturated fatty acids (omega 6 and omega 3), which, sided by a great concentration of natural antioxidants (Vitamin E and Betacaroten), revitalize and regenerate the skin.
• The new trend in spas consists in using rosehip for revitalizing and tonifying body treatments, strictly using oils and lotions made from this Southern fruit, which achieves a natural skin hidration. It is also used in facial massages, which provides a deep moisturizing, anti-age effect.
